The Peñas de Aia massif (known in Basque as Aiako Harria) and its surrounding area is a beautiful nature reserve covering almost 7,000 hectares and spread across three municipalities: Irún, Oiartzun and Lesaka. Its forests, vegetation and wildlife, coupled with the extremely high quality of its waters, all combine to make the nature reserve one of the most extraordinary natural areas in the region.
Lasting around 3 hours, the walk around Peñas de Aia is an excellent opportunity to get to know the large granite mountain that is the heart of the nature reserve. Participants will also walk up the Meazuri tunnels to Miagorri, to see the lode of metalliferous ore that is located there.
The guided tour of Peñas de Aia is designed for groups and you will need to hire a coach to reach the departure point.
The days on which your chosen activity is carried out are shown in blue. If you want to do a trip on another day, you can rent privately (mainly designed for groups).
